<p>It is sadly informed that Vice Chancellor of Minhaj University Prof Dr Muhammad
Nazir Romani passed away to the endless Mercy of his Gracious Lord.</p>

Dr Muhammad Nazir Romani was Ex-VC of Punjab University; Lahore, Bahauddin Zakariya
University; Multan, Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad and Chairman of Higher Education
Commission. Funeral prayer of the deceased will be offered at 1:45 pm on 3 April,
2009 at Punjab University new campus, Lahore.</p>
<p>Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri expressed his grief and condolence
to the affected family. He said on the sad occasion that the departed soul was a
very virtuous man. His heart teemed with the Love of Rasoollullah (S.A.W). He prayed
for the rest and salvation of the departed soul in the world hereafter. He also
prayed for him enjoying final dwelling and resting place closer to the Holy Prophet's
(SAW).</p>

General Pakistan Awami Tehreek, Anwar Akhtar Advocate, Director Media and Public
Relations, Mian Zahid Islam, Ameer-e-Punjab Ahmad Nawaz Anjum, Nazim Youth, Sajid
Mahmood Bhatti, Deputy Director Minhaj Internet Bureau Abdul Sattar Minhajian, Deputy
Director FMRi Muhammad Farooq Rana and all other central leaders of Minhaj-ul-Quran
International have also expressed their grief and sorrow over his death.</p>
